PASTELITOS/EMPANADAS
What is an “Pastelito” (or empanada)? : A Pastelito is a stuffed bread or pastry baked or fried in many countries of Latin America and Spain. They are made by folding dough over a stuffing, which may consist of meat, cheese, corn, or other ingredients.

TOSTONES/FRIED PLANTAINS
This is a banana containing high levels of starch and little sugar, which is harvested green and widely used as a cooked vegetable in the tropics.
POLLO GUISDADO/CHICKEN
Chicken, garlic, Chinese Parsley/cilantro, red onions, green peppers, ground oregano, tomato paste, chicken bouillon, and soybean oil.
HABICHUELAS/BEANS
Pinto/Red beans cooked with a homemade sofrito of red onions, red peppers, garlic, cilantro, chinese parsley, oregano, black pepper, then added tomato paste, chicken bouillon and a little bit of soybean oil to cook.
ENSALADA MIXTA/BEET POTATO SALAD
Russet or Yukon potatoes, red beets, eggs, carrots, apple cider vinegar, mayonnaise, salt.
ARROZ BLANCO/WHITE RICE
(Not your typical white rice :-)
Long grain Jasmine white rice, salt, soybean oil, ..cooked in a Dominican Pot.
CHULETAS/PORK CHOPS
(NOT AVAILABLE DAILY, ONLY ESPECIAL OCCASIONS)
Pork Chops marinated in our homeade sofrito with oregano, cooked grilled with vinagrette onions on top.
MORO DE HABICHUELAS NEGRAS/BLACK BEAN RICE
(NOT AVAILABLE DAILY, ONLY ESPECIAL OCCASIONS)
Dominican Style rice cooked with black beans in. (Similar to Gandules rice, but with black beans)
