We are a small family owned Dominican business based out of Waimanalo HI. Taste our delicious plate lunches consisting of rice, beans, mixed (beet) potato salad, Pastelon de Maduros (similar to a lasagna), our Sancocho or 3 meat stew, and vegan dishes. We also make Dominican "Pastelitos" (or empanadas) with meat or vegetable fillings. Because of our special and culturally inspired seasonings, we can assure you: THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU FIND ELSEWHERE :)
We are fairly new, and currently working on our catering menu. Prices are comparable. Our quality and flavor will have you coming back for more.. and more.. and more.

What is an “Pastelito” (or empanada)? : A Pastelito is a stuffed bread or pastry baked or fried in many countries of Latin America and Spain. They are made by folding dough over a stuffing, which may consist of meat, cheese, corn, or other ingredients.
Cooked Seasoned corn, carrots, red onions, red peppers, garlic, parsley, inside a wheat-based dough.
Seasoned ground beef, inside a wheat-based dough.

Dominican style Flan/ Quesillo.
A flan is an open, rimmed, pastry or sponge base, containing a sweet or savoury filling. Examples are the quiche lorraine, custard tart, and the South African melktert. with a thin caramel-like sauce.
Steamed sweet plantains, with cinnamon and a bit of brown sugar (for browning).
White rice, evaporated milk, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, raisins.
Dishes made with vegetables, and plant based ingredients/seasonings. Made throughout the week, depending on demand, please call or check our FB/Instagram for availability.

Grilled eggplant, then seasoned with garlic, onions, peppers and salt. Prices varies by serving size.
Vegan soup made with a coconut milk base along with broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes, carrots, corn, celery, garlic, onions, salt, black pepper, and oregano. Comes with a side of white rice.
Substitute (plant based) ground beef crumbles, beans, onions, garlic, corn, celery, oregano, salt. Comes with a side of white rice.
